Located in the Mojave Desert of Nevada state in the USA, Las Vegas is a city full of life which attracts millions of national and international tourists throughout the year. Las Vegas, also known as the “Sin City” and “Entertainment Capital of the World’ , is a world-renowned destination for entertainment, nightlife, large casinos, and gambling. With its dazzling lights, iconic landmarks, and endless attractions, this desert city offers something for everyone.
How is the weather in Las Vegas?
Las Vegas has a hot desert subtropical climate that is characterized by arid and sunny conditions. July is the hottest month in Las Vegas with an average temperature of 33.5°C (92°F) and the coldest is December at 8°C (46°F) with very little rain.
You can plan your trip to Vegas all year around, but I would recommend the winter months. As it is more pleasant and you can explore more during the day without getting sweaty.
What can you do in Las Vegas?

Take a stroll down the Strip and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city’s neon lights and bustling streets.
2. Enjoy the Fountains of Bellagio

One of the most popular attractions on the Strip is the Fountains of Bellagio. This iconic fountain show features water choreographed to music, lights, and lasers, creating a mesmerizing display that is sure to delight visitors of all ages.
The show runs every 30 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes at night. It is a whole different experience and I am sure you would love it. The good thing is that it is FREE to see the show!!
3. Explore Fremont Street
Fremont Street is the historic heart of Las Vegas, and it is a must-see for anyone visiting the city. The street is home to some of the city’s oldest casinos and hotels, and it is famous for its neon lights and vintage Vegas charm. Check out the Fremont Street Experience, a spectacular light and sound show that takes place every night.

4. Luxor (The Mini Egypt)
With its towering pyramid design and Sphinx-adorned façade. The Luxor stands out as one of the most unique hotels in Sin City. Its appearance resembling a piece of Egypt is located in the heart of The Strip.
The Luxor compensates with an impressive size and an array of attractions. The massive casino floor offers a range of popular table games and slot machines. Additionally, it features a long list of live shows, including popular acts like the Blue Man Group, Carrot Top, and the adults-only Fantasy.

6. Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower
The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod is located between Downtown and Center Strip. The STRAT is one of the most iconic landmarks on the Las Vegas Strip, the 1,149-foot STRAT Tower. It is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the U.S., offering spectacular views of the city, Top of the World award-winning fine dining and lounges, specialty retailers in the Tower Shops, the Chapel in the Clouds wedding chapel, the highest thrill rides in the U.S., and SkyJump Powered by MTN Dew.
During my visit to Vegas, I had booked a tour and was staying at STRAT. It was amazing and guests were provided free access to the tower top, where you can enjoy the view of the city and enjoy your food.

While every resort in Las Vegas has their own unique front yard, nothing really compares to that of The Mirage. Yep, we have a volcano. Now it has more fireballs, bigger explosions and it is accompanied by the soundtrack of The Grateful Dead.

You will find experience from around the world in Las Vegas. You have never visited Venice ? No problem, Las Vegas has got you covered. Step into The Venetian Resort at midnight and you will feel like you have entered the beautiful daylight of Venice. The Gondola Ride at The Venetian is an iconic Vegas activity. There are other ton of fun things to do, eat, and it’s the prettiest casino-hotel to take amazing photos.

If you want to try some luck at gambling, there are casinos everywhere in Vegas. MGM Grand Hotel and Casino is one of the largest casinos which offers all sorts of services and games.
